Yea im worried about Ashoka's future honestly... They weren't gonna kill her in clone wars when she was the audience surrogate but now? Hell, I remember how tragic the circumstances that resulted ultimately in her survival was - that was a gut punch at the time, odd to think it now. I can't see them writing a way for Ahsoka that involves her surviving, but then, I could see them pulling that off in the Clone Wars either.

The season finale is called "The Twilight of the Apprentice."
I'm not thinking it, but I'm thinking it.

So that Season 2 finale...the writing slump since Stealth Strike is over, eh?

Came here to say the same thing! THRAWN!
Am I correct that he hasn't appeared in official materials since the TIE Fighter game?
Just watched it - holy shit I need to watch this. Darth Maul and Tarkin too?

My god, that trailer looks so promising. Kanan falling back as Ezra embraces aggression. Maul vying with Kanan for his very soul. Sabine forced to confront more of her Mandalorian heritage and even take up Vizla's blade itself. Wedge Antilles escaping the Imperial Academy amid sightings of TIE Interceptors in flight (Bloodstriped ones at that!). Dark Troopers lurching to life to crush the Rebellion for their onscreen debut. More of the brilliant Grand Moff Tarkin. The beginnings of the Rebel Y-wing squadrons. And, perhaps most of all, Grand Admiral Thrawn, bearing a pitch-perfect voice and depiction beyond my wildest dreams.
The future will indeed be bright, even as it dives to its darkest depths yet. I remain utterly enthralled by this supposed children's show.

DARK TROOPERS! I thought that was them, and forgot to mention them amid my excitement about Maul, Tarkin and Wedge.

So yeah. The show's coming back with Forest Whittaker's Saw Gerrera.

Just finished the episode where Kanan trains Sabine on the Darksaber. God, the last few minutes gave me chills. The highs of this show (S2 finale being the towering example) are amazing, and I enjoy the crew enough that it keeps me engaged when things seem to be coasting along. Thrawn is just an amazing antagonist, I hope he makes other appearances in the new canon.
And yes, Darth Vader standing on his TIE w saber ignited is the coolest goddamn thing in the history of animation.

Thrawn is just an amazing antagonist, I hope he makes other appearances in the new canon. He will! Timothy Zahn, his creator, is writing a new novel in the canon, simply titled 'Thrawn.'

Does anyone know where I can watch the pilot, Spark of Rebellion, without having to pay eight freaking dollars for it? (There are 3 seasons available on Sling TV, but NOT the pilot, damn it!)

Obi-Wan's gonna kill Maul, right? I can't see a situation where Obi-Wan's location is that well known (some in the Rebellion will know of it, presumably, since Leia knew Obi-Wan was on Tattooine.)

Okay, so I feel completely stupid here...
I went to check Sling TV/Disney XD again just to see if I missed Spark of Rebellion being listed.
I did...because it was listed as episode 2. So it and Droids in Distress were just reversed.
Watched it just now...holy shit, that was a fantastic pilot! I'm SO excited to finally watch this show!

I've watched 4 eps so far. Wow, that Luminara scene was dark, and the Inquisitor! He's Mustafarian, is he? Scary dude! The spinning lightsaber could be gimmicky, but the way he used it was pretty intimidating. And making fun of and then explaining Yoda's "do or do not, there is no try" was SO well done.
Also, the previous episode with Ezra and Zeb bonding over a stolen TIE was pretty great.
