I can recite the lyrics of any Radiohead or Andrew Jackson Jihad song from memory.
Obviously, I should not be single right now.

Why did you go and do that?! Now I have done this. Slightly proud, but not inordinately because I had meant to get things done tonight...

I think the added dimension gives you a bit too much freedom- it's a lot harder to get stuck here than in the 2D version.

Well, I haven't got to 2048 yet, in either version. I'd better find a strategy guide. I found a bunch of variants of the game, and I've been playing 144. It's a bit more of a puzzle, but I've beaten it twice. I like the way the colors of the tiles are related to the prime factors of the numbers. The Numberwang version is playable, and hilarious.

Everyone in my office is obsessed with the Trivia Crack game. One of my co-workers kept annoying me, begging me to get it so he could play me. I warned him that he didn't want to play a trivia game against me. But he was insistent. So, I gave in.
I promptly beat him 6-1 in the first game and 6-0 in the second game. It took me 2 rounds each time.

...but I did spend $30 on a deluxe Yo La Tengo vinyl reissue, so ... oops.

MENISCUS!!!
An 8-letter word spanning two Triple Word Score squares, using all the letters on my rack for a 50-point bonus. 148 points. Best Scrabble play I made all last year.
Unfortunately, it was at an informal gathering of the Scrabble club, not the official weekly meeting where scores are recorded and players are ranked. But it did get a mention in the club newsletter, and at last night's meeting someone came up to me and congratulated me.
I am such a frickin' nerd.

I successfully completed the paperwork for my homestead exemption on the new house. It would actually have been easier if I went a year between owning houses, so I wouldn't have to prove that I no longer owned the house I got a homestead exemption on last year.

I finally got the dogs calmed down enough from moving anxiety that they aren't peeing and pooping in the house multiple times a day. Now it is just occasionally.

An ad/poster I drew up a few months ago has - potentially - brought in about £700 this year. And counting.

Created a facebook page devoted to my Creative Writing classes. Chose a name that references Dylan, made a few status updates, added some stylish b/w pictures of the writers who crop up a lot (Donna Tartt has already been mistaken for Johnny Depp; you can see there's a long road ahead), and sent the link to the students. In two days, I've done more on this page than I have on my own in 9 years. Here's the link, should anyone fancy a nosey around: www.facebook.com/talesbasement

The true accomplishment will be if I actually get through the day.

I replaced my front license plate. This should have been too minor even for this thread, but somehow, the screw/nut assembly had become stripped (I don't know how, since I haven't touched it since the plates were put on seven years ago), so the screws just turned infinitely. The rear of the bumper was not reachable through the engine compartment, so I managed to get the front grill off the car, only to find that the rear of be bumper is sealed as well.
Once I realized that to legitimately get the screws out I would have to take the car somewhere to have the bumper removed, I said "fuck it", cut the old license plate off with tin snips, hack-sawed the heads of the old screws off, then drilled new holes in the bumper and secured the plate with screws designed to hold in fiberglass.
So, something that should have taken 30 seconds took 3 hours. I'll worry about what to do the next time I have to replace the plate in another seven years.
EDIT: I guess the part I'm really inordinately proud about is that despite the tin snips, hacksaws, and jagged old license plates, I somehow didn't slice my hand(s) open.

I don't know if this really counts as a minor accomplishment since it boils down to no less than confirmation that I am indubitably and unequivocally the greatest.
