So All Stars 3 ended with a wet fart. I'm not mad at Trixie, but she didn't really win a competition. A real competition would have been a top 3 of Ben De La Creme, Shangela, and Trixie. I can only hope that the House of Edwards gets its own show, because Alyssa was also robbed of her rightful place in the top 3 of All Stars 2.
Okay, moving on! Season 10 looks like a much-needed return to form. My hot takes on the contestants:
Eureka O'Hara - Ugh, she's so damn loud and annoying. Please leave.
Asia O'Hara - PhiPhi's drag mom, apparently. Strikes me as a filler queen.
Miss Cracker - Brianna Cracker is still a better name. She's reasonably entertaining and polished.
Yuhua Hamasaki - I dig her look, and she's had a couple good one-liners, but she really needs to stop constantly telling everybody she's Asian. Bitch, we know - that's not a personality.
Blair St. Clair - Very pretty and super twinky out of drag.
Monet Exchange - She reminds me of Bob the Drag Queen, both in personality (charming) and style (basic).
Kameron Michaels - "That's a man, Maury!" And not in a cool, artistic genderfuck way.
Mayhem Miller - Adorable. Polished.
Kalorie Karbdashian Williams - I want to like her for her personality, but her style needs a lot of work. I don't think she'll last.
Monique Heart - Flamboyant and fun, despite her nondescript name.
Dusty Ray Bottoms - Not impressed. Sub-Acid Betty.
The Vixen - Representing Chi-Town! I wish she wasn't so messy and dramatic.
Vanessa Vanjie Matteo - A lot of potential, but not quite there yet. I'd like to see more of her.
Aquaria - Obnoxiously arrogant, considering her look is only slightly above Dusty Ray Bottoms. And she and Cracker do look the same, which might hold both of them back.
EDIT: For the record, I solely blame the producers for fucking up AS3. Ben De La Creme has an
illuminating statement on what the real problem is...
