Picked up a new bass, an IbanezGSR200B. It definitely needs some tweaking*, but I love the way the neck feels, and it's got a good sound when plugged in. It's just comfortable to play. * fret buzz (and the action is too low overall), and I might sand down the edges of the P pickup for comfort

I have (well, I say "I", I mean Seoul Hole and myself together) bought a rather lovely Gretch Streamliner. This one, in fact! And here I am, having a strum... It's a gorgeous instrument to play, incredibly easy and very forgiving (just as well, considering my skill...). It the first hollow-body I've ever owned and I completely adore it.

It looks similar to my 5122 (which, incidentally, I just picked up to strum this morning, and it still sounds gorgeous despite my not having touched it in months; thanks, depression).
FYI, Bigsby trems are the absolute worst thing ever to restring.

I have yet to face the pleasure of restringing a Bigsby trem though I enjoy it little enough on my Strat which is just a regular ole whammy-bar. Something to look forward to!
