What's weird is that I feel like I just got into some kind of club where my friends were already hanging out. It's strange how attached I am to people I've only met through the AV Club, and how important it is to see the same old avatars (albeit much larger), as if they're actually your faces.

I don't know if there's an easier way. |

There are times when I post a lot at AVC, and times when I don't. But the thought of losing the comment section over there would just suck too much as the people here are one of my primary sources of humor and levity, not to mention perspectives outside my real-life bubble. Some of these boards haven't had a lot of activity in years, it looks like. Well all the main boards have had conversations either today or yesterday (except one whose last post was June 6th.) The sub-boards - like the half-dozen TV Review boards, for example - have less conversation, but they're more specialist in nature so it's not that surprising. |

Hello! I requested and received acceptance a couple of months ago, but haven't posted until now. Kind of stumbling about here, and I'm not sure how frequently I'll check in, but I do enjoy reading the thoughts of you fine folks in whatever online iteration. The Kinjapocalypse might reshuffle my online priorities, but I guess we'll wait and see.
Otherwise, there's not much about me to tell: white, middle-aged male, familied Canadian, raised in the (formerly) socialist heartland.
Also, I need three cans of yellow paint and one pair of cool shades.
