Tina really does have a formidable libido, doesn't she? I should probably be banned from AVC based on my unfamiliarity with that show.

I had an intense crush on Ally Sheedy for a while. Not at the time Breakfast Club came out, but years later when old enough for crushes. Who did she bang in St. Elmo's Fire? I wanted to murder him.

I'm pretty sure it was Andrew McCarthy. It would explain my long-lasting antipathy towards him, in any case. These gifs just made me realize that my current crush on Michelle Dockery is quite likely directly descended from my long standing crush on Ally Sheedy.

Clearly, Before Ally Sheedy was so disappointed in herself that she dropped out, became a photographer, started taking heroin, became a lesbian, fell in love with Patricia Clarkson, and had an affair with a cute blonde magazine lady. That's how we got High Art.

I thought High Art was very good. I wouldn't call it a masterpiece, and, fairing waring, you have to have a tolerance for queer mumblecore films, but Ally Sheedy and Patricia Clarkson are sublime. Lisa Cholodenko does a great job building a lived-in, quietly lugubrious atmosphere. Before Ally Sheedy in The Breakfast Club was so damn adorable. Better than we she went standard Mall Girl.

High Art is probably the best Ally Sheedy is a lesbian heroin addict photographer movie of the late 90s.

There's an interview with her on YT from when she was promoting whatever that movie was where she had a sidekick robot in great '80s style. Short Circuit. It was a local program announced as giving 'an Oregon perspective on Hollywood'. I thought the interviewer and she were charmingly earnest. You'd think he was interviewing Laurence Olivier about his craft or something. It was kind of cute.

Wait, did you mean avid readers like readers of books or readers of the forum because if you meant books then I shouldn't be included.
