During his time aboard, he meets Anita Isakson, a young woman also taken by the aliens, and witnesses untold acts of cruelty and personal heroism by the enslaved humans aboard. Franklin also sees Daria Morgendorffer, Quinn Morgendorffer and Jane Lane aboard the vessel. The fic ends with Franklin considering his options on how to possibly take control of the vessel and how to free the slaves, and the possible benefits of having the Morgendorffer sisters help in the upcoming revolt.
