I take solace in seeing how few of those are going into Canada.

Andy Daly is good imo. Here he is reading Laphroaig reviews for several hours. It's an advert but I enjoy drinking the product so *shrug* I can cope.

Dear lord, this twitter account reposting quotes from real fanfiction stories and their reviews is gold. Gold!

This is old news, and maybe not enjoyable to people who like a little mystery (Spoilers if you haven't seen the end of the Sopranos and want to) but I love the analysis of the symbols and callbacks with a fine tooth comb. And the theory makes sense to me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd9OsHsLJ28&feature=youtu.be

Listen to fm radio stations across the globe: radio.garden/liveI'm listening to Auckland, New Zealand's The Rock FM. It's playing a truly awful radio rock song that I've never heard before (if I had to guess, and I don't, I'd say it's Shinedown even though I haven't knowingly heard a Shinedown song but it seems like the kind of thing I imagine they'd play) and I love it! Oh, they have a New Zealand band on now. Maybe it'll be better. It sounds like the rap at the start of Sum 41's Fat Lip video over the top of a late-period Foo Fighters song. This is terrible! I love it!!

I love it!! Apparently it was Steriogram, the band that had that song Walkie, Talkie Man on Apple adverts 10 years ago. Up next - Green Day, Marilyn Manson and some NZ rock from Villainy. I'M HOME. Edit: uuuurrrggghhhh it was a new Green Day song and a new Marilyn Manson song. Eeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww. I LOVE IT!!!!

For all the grief I give Disqus, I do appreciate how much the block user function has improved my reading of TOC: I don't know what I missed, but I'm grateful for it.

Video went up for an event I was at in November; one of the most moving rituals I've ever attended. "On the eve of the 150th Crossbones Vigil, John Constable (aka John Crow) is in conversation with the author of 'The Spirits of Crossbones Graveyard' and Oxford Professor, Sondra Hausner as part of the 'Being Human' festival. This film interweaves the discussion on history, ritual and shamanism with the Vigil from the 23rd November 2016, exactly 20 years from the day John was first visited by the infamous 'Goose' - the spirit of a medieval prostitute. For more information on the site of this monthly vigil which brings together people of all faiths and none to honour the outcast dead go to www.crossbones.org.uk"

If you want a perfect capsule of English eccentric genius, here it is: Frank Sidebottom interviewed by Professor Stanley Unwin.
