Out of Context Pictures #2

I wasn't sure where to put these. Is there an art thread? Bored shitless at my dad's house in Louisiana (my mood swings mildly exacerbated by my developmentally challenged half-brother shrieking at his video game upstairs) and sketched a little more. I've been meaning to get back in the game in any event, but I've barely been able to read, let alone write, over the past month or so, and fuck, do I need an artistic outlet. Here are a few things I drew.


I think she's about to ask him to smile, thankfully not the other way 'round.

I couldn't figure out how to rotate this, but I'm still trying to figure out whether she's warming at a fire or fending something off. Based on the kid's expression, probably the latter, but maybe he's secretly a changeling who's just as secretly allergic to warmth.

Doodle based loosely, I figured later, on Yog-Sothoth, but edges a little too close to tentacle "art."

whoa, so all the allegedly bad habits of 1930s charm school dropouts were actually presaging The Game and Pick Up Artist(s)?  --or maybe the next time i encounter a person who displays psychopathic/narcissistic/borderline/histrionic behavior, i can just say, "quit acting like my grandmother!"
