Today's list:

When Drag Goes Wrong - Worst Outfits in Drag Race Herstory (according to moimoi)

Not counting the "Ugliest Dress" runway in Season 7, there are lots of reasons why the occasional trainwreck hits RPDR: lack of sewing skills, running out of clothes, bad taste, 'misunderstanding the assignment', and, I suspect, producers looking to make good TV. So as much as I'd like to read these ladies for filth, I'll try to let the images speak for themselves. The AVC comments section has already gotten way too mean-spirited, in my opinion, but I trust you Forumites to keep it cute  

**. Alyssa Edwards - Although Santino said this was the worst dress he'd ever seen on the runway, I don't think it's so hideous - just poorly executed and unflattering. It was clear at this point in the competition that Alyssa was running out of clothes. She tried her best to finesse it, though. 



10. Ben Delacreme - Yeah, I said it. I don't understand the deep abiding love for DeLa and the hatred for Darienne Lake. Darienne could be a diva bitch, but she was also funny and beautiful. DeLa really was one-note and did seem to overestimate her talents, though she seems like a cool person. Here, she's giving me "tired-ass showgirl" realness. 



9. Mystique Summers Madison - Bitch is from Chicago, so I can't fault her too hard, especially when it's clear that she simply ran out of outfits and didn't have confidence in her ability to sew something. This outfit is just...unfortunate. 



8. Joslyn Fox - I love Joslyn--I'm hoping she makes All-Stars 2 because she's hilarious and offbeat--but I almost put her on this list twice because her outfits were so busted. This outfit, which we also saw in white, is like a bad combo of Carmen Carrera nakedness and India Ferrah bad taste. 



7. India Ferrah - I'm sorry, but I find India's look grotesque. The huge, fake breast plate is off-putting, combined with the body stocking, boots, top hat, Xs, poorly-styled wig, makeup gun set to "whore"...the judges said it all.



6. Laganja Estranja - WTF was she thinking? This has to be one of the most unflattering ensembles I've ever seen on a man or woman. Was she going for androgyny? Total fail. 



5. Detox/Tempest DuJour (tie) - Both were going for 'nude illusions' and both ended up with something quite unflattering. They get some credit for degree-of-difficulty, though. 



4. Serena Chacha - I think what happened here is that she was inexperienced, arrogant, and ran out of time to execute the grand design in her head. Instead, we got "drag pinocchio" but at least the color choice is nice?



3. Shangela Laquifa Wadley - This is the corn dress that basically fell apart as she was wearing it. The lack of effort is clear, like she got caught in a hotel room naked and had to cover herself with whatever was handy. I could understand why the other queens would not take her seriously. 



2. Alisa Summers - People talk about how Jiggly's outfit was busted, but I actually thought it was cute, if poorly-executed. At least it fit the 'post-apocalyptic' theme. I have no idea what Alisa Summers was trying to do here. There is no conceivable scenario where anyone would wear something this hideous. 



1. Kennedy Davenport - Despite being very talented and polished, I give Kennedy top (dis)honors because she really should have known better than to come with this chicken-dinosaur-horse-phoenix jewel-encrusted monstrosity. No story and no amount of charisma-uniqueness-nerve-talent could have saved this.

Naysha was totally Kandy Ho. Didn't realize that until you mentioned it. I was more impressed with Acid Betty than I thought I would be, but I'm still on the Bob train. I wonder how she'll pull together looks though. She seems to have a fun personality that works well on TV. I was alright with Derrick (no strong feelings either way), but her actions on Untucked really made me lean mo towards the "do not like". I already want the next episode up! So far this looks like it's going to be a call-back season, which I'm not too big on, but maybe they'll pull it off nicely.

4th Episode observations:

Chris Stein is easily one of the coolest people alive. I've met him and he's really delightful.

Robbie Turner seems to be humbled by his shaky performance in the first few episodes. I'm glad, but I still don't see him making it to the end.

I cannot understand why Derrick Barry has stayed out of the bottom so far. His style is ho-hum and he can't even perform! On AVC, they suggested the producers want him for Snatch Game, but since Tatianna already tore up his Britney impression, I think (hope) this is Derrick's downfall.
