I was actually just there about two weeks ago . . . looked pretty open. A little disappointing is that sports betting is still illegal in Ohio, so I guess he's just going to do a hand of blackjack or something? Not quite the same. |

And dear God, if your internet activity has anything to do with sports, you will be bombarded with social media ads for sports betting. I had to start blocking companies on Twitter. My IRL Twitter friends basically all come from the same sports fandom group. All of us were getting so many sports betting ads. Aaaaaah! |

Forensic audit raises questions regarding finances in Shelby County Illinois“Mind-Boggling” is the term used by an auditor who conducted a forensic audit of the Shelby County Sheriff’s office. The WAND News I-Team has obtained a copy an audit summary which outlines nearly six-years of questionable financial handling of taxpayer dollars within the department from 2015 through July 2020. “We have a number of errors in every single component of payroll,” said independent auditor John Vanderburgh. “In one department for five-and-a-half to six years there was three-quarters of a million dollars worth of problems." I guess this is only unsurprising if you know anything at all about Shelby County Illinois.
