Since I realize we may have many old friends making new accounts here on the TIF, but it'll be a good long while before they're able to get into the juicy TMI section, I thought I would take on this humanitarian endeavor that just so happens to also directly benefit me! I once got an official warning for posting a gif in which women were wearing fake plastic cow udders OVER their breasts and I still got said warning for "simulated nudity". |

I can somewhat answer that, but be aware we leave the beautiful land of facts and come into the horrible realm of opinions: We had an incident here commonly know as The Purge. My aforementioned cow udder gif was reported to proboards by someone. (That's why I got a warning for it, nobody would have cared otherwise) Proboards apparently wrote back: You have 24 hours to delete this or the forum gets shut down. Panic ensued and lots of posts and even whole threads were deleted in fear of the proboards overlords. To this day there is no consensus if and how much of that was necessary. Furthermore there is no consensus wether proboards does have anybody on payroll who's just looking through the forums all day in search of lewd posts or if they just react if being reported a post. My opinion on this it's definitely the latter but to be safe in any way, never post titties. (Yes goes for links also, even if you just type the url without making it "clickable") |

I have an instructive Venn diagram that isn't tits, but can look like it from a distance. This was not on purpose. Is this acceptable? In case you were wondering this was a helpful illustration for a work colleague.  |

I appreciate that you felt the need to briefly explain set theory in a footnote to your coworker. seems pretty necessary if the diagram was needed at all... thanks Telly. I keep asking about the rules since it's so far removed from what every other forum I dealt with has allowed in the past. I don't want to blunder into something dumb b/c of sleep deprivation or lacking in filter. pretty sure I only got one infraction on a forum I used to frequent that had some NSFW stuff sectioned off. I already flew too close to the sun once with a tasteless / funny photo repost back then. one infraction was enough. |

I need to learn how to post pictures. it's pretty easy to do on a full blown computer. hit the Reply to Topic button (or quote if that's what you're planning to do). type your stuff and hit the little Image icon on the bar along the upper right edge of the box. you can paste a link directly in there. from what I've read, some folks can't see sites like Twitter and Giphy for image links. there's no space to upload stuff directly, so if you need to upload a photo of your own, use umm... someone help? Imgur maybe? (not Photobucket) there's a way to do it with tag wrapping in the text directly but I haven't done it in years since I frequented a different forum. it might be a pain in the ass on mobile, not sure. |
