I've never actually seen Evangelion and I've been stuck on the 4th episode of Bojack since 2016. What about we compromise and say Panty and Stocking is better than either?

I haven't seen Evangelion as of yet, but I enjoy Bojack. currently working my way through the fourth season.
this thread makes me feel fairly perturbed and disinclined to watch Evangelion, assuming that this isn't all just facetious in-joke references.
