Yay this is back! That's all I have to say about this album, but still - yay! What would you think if Black Sabbath had actually recorded a disco track? Also, what do you think about Macca's Press to Play? I'm finally tackling that this week and it's not very good.

Also, what do you think about Macca's Press to Play? I'm finally tackling that this week and it's not very good. I mean, it couldn't be a lot worse than the Stones's attempts at recording a disco track could it? Press To Play is... interesting. Not, erm, good. But it's contextually interesting. I'll hold off saying too much for now until you post your review, but basically after a series of increasingly hollow, worthless but commercially successful albums that appear to simply bore McCartney (understandably so), Press To Play at least sees him trying to stretch out in new directions. Not always - or indeed often - very successfully, but if anything I think it acts as a kind of exorcism before the creative renaissance of Flowers In The Dirt.
