So, there's been a few clues, but it's recently occurred to me that the show has Ben's age somewhere around his late 30s, as opposed to Aasif Mandvi's actual age of 56. There is his much younger sister, of course, there was a reference to his mom playing a CD in the car when he was a kid, and this last episode he referenced a dorm room circa 2004. Don't get me wrong, I love Aasif Mandvi as Ben, it's just sort of weird they have him playing a character who is probably supposed to be 20 years younger than he actually is, when there is really no reason to. To be honest, I think the writers just assumed Aasif is in his early 40s (and unless you've seen random Law & Order reruns from 1997 or really remember his star turn as pizzeria owner Mr. Aziz in the original Spider-Man 2 that's very understandable, he looks really good for 56). |

The Demon of Parenthood - CRIPES, that was certainly an episode ending! Has the show actually shown the non-demon appearance of The Manager at all? Yet another episode where Andy just doesn't exist at all. "Maybe I should follow up on my last message to him where he obviously was fake or something? Not even a token line about asking someone to investigate?" |

I suspect they're saving that for a reveal - when we finally see him, he's going to turn out to be someone else we've seen by that point.

They're really doing a good job of drawing out what's going on with Sheryl. I mean obviously we know what she's doing to Andy but we don't know WHY.
If I hear Alouette one more time I'll scream though.

Wow, did not expect a Laurie Anderson needle drop at the end of this episode ("Born, Never Asked" ... appropriate pick).
I do feel like we're racing towards an ending here with the 38 days thing - presumably coinciding with the birth of the Bouchownsendling - I'm not sure whether that ticking clock is going to make the show better or worse (since I don't think the case-of-the-week format is a negative, really, and this sort of precludes that).

I introduced my mom and aunt to Evil and they love it so far. Only five episodes in and they're already suspicious of Sheryl and think Leland is one of the smarmiest villains ever.

I'm rewatching and I love that the season one attempted incel mass murder storyline ends with the idiot incel shooting himself in the head.
