Check out the #AskUtopia Twitter hashtag for Kelly & tonight's director doing some Q&A - they didn't get to my question sadly! I asked if Wilson Wilson was named for Robert Anton Wilson. And tonight I noticed Martin the gardener - maybe named for archskeptic Martin Gardener??

Looks like the C4 site's doing a little ARG action... www.channel4.com/programmes/utopia/articlesVidblog posts on a 'lost' 80s game called Hide and Seekers, which you can play. It's basically Jessica shooting fireballs & collecting boxes of chocolate raisins... And don't forget, next ep - set now - is tomorrow night 2200 BST.

I was really hoping to watch it tonight!

And don't forget, next ep - set now - is tomorrow night 2200 BST. I note Utopia isn't on next Monday, which leads me to believe Tuesday may be the permanent time? Not ideal if so - around half my TV shows are on Tuesday nights now, it's a mess.

Dara O'Briain: Kind of the last cameo I expected on Utopia.

Spoilers throughout under <spoiler> </spoiler>, with [ ] brackers instead of < >, m'kay? Be kind until folk catch up! Oh yes: That's My Jessica.
Seems Simon McBurnley has been recast as Donaldson. Michael Maloney does a good job, but can't sneer quite as well. But, I forgive him a lot for the scene with him dragging The Actor Kevin Eldon around by his wrist as Eldon has a heart attack. Quality slapstick. Add The Emperor Himself, Ian MacDiarmid to the cast in the form of a Russian scientist. Can't wait until next week.

I've moved the posts from the Airy Neave thread that had nothing to do with Airy Neave into this thread, hope that's alright. Not a lot going on the Jessica Hyde end, but that she was somehow able to turn a Bible into a weapon - and Milner was okay with her 'nicer' interrogator dying for the error of giving her a Bible - was a practical enough scene.
Wilson Wilson dressed to the nines was a nice touch. The Network have to have the most preposterously overdressed hitmen in the business (the more slovenly look Arby - sorry, Pietre - prefers to one side.)
And it looks like this season The Assassin Formerly Known As Raisin Boy is going to be in the Jessica Hyde role of the smart person keeping them all alive, with Ian McDiarmid being the new Utopia Manuscript - a mysterious MacGuffin that makes them a target and which they really have to figure out what the hell it all means. Some are even speculating that he may be Philip Carvel (and his language sounded like maybe Russian to me? He says 'Da' at least once.)

I'm unnerved with what Jessica will do with that screw. Also, is it weird I'm really happy Lee is alive and that I envy his wardrobe? Cos, damn! Milner choosing to open the door… brutal, but perfectly in character.

Also, I'm planning on having a recap on Series 2, Episode 1 by tomorrow, and one for Series 2, Episode 2 this Fri/Sat. Thank you again, Douay-Rheims-Challoner, for giving me this space to talk about this fantastic program with similarly fantastic people!

As someone who won't be able to watch Episode 3 until tomorrow night (positively torturous, it is), you have no idea how much I approve of you keeping the spoilers hidden! Thank you, Douay-Rheims-Challoner!

To whit, ICP: That Anton isn't an alias for Philip Carvel but rather the reverse.
