This month's Anniversary Record Club poll resulted in a three-way tie between a trio of West Coast acts. It's Surf Rats vs. Desert Rats vs., um, PacNW Flannel Rats for the victory. The runoff poll goes until 5pm tomorrow and everyone gets just one choice, so make your campaigning count. The Beach Boys – Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!) (July 5, 1965) Album number nine from the Boys, featuring “Help Me, Rhonda” and “California Girls” Kyuss - …And The Circus Leaves Town (July 11, 1995) The southern California rock quartet’s third and final album The Presidents of the United States of America – The Presidents of the United States of America (July 25, 1995 major label re-release) Debut from the Seattle pop-punk trio, featuring “Lump” and “Peaches”

Dammit, it's not 5pm here yet. (I would have voted for The Presidents so it doesn't actually matter.)
