So I'm just not really into music much anymore, so I have no idea why I'm bothering to respond, but here's what I have.
1. What was the last song you listened to? Probably some kid's song. Mickey Mouse's Hot Dog Dance by TMBG? Last song played on my phone is Chemical Brothers - Galvanize
2. Do you have an official summer song yet? Nope
3. Favorite song with your first name in the lyrics? None exist that I know of, unless there's a ballad written for some very minor character in Game of Thrones
4. Favorite song from a soundtrack?
Strangely enough, it's probably a tie between The Cure - Burn (The Crow), and Oasis - Fucking in the Bushes (Snatch), both by bands I don't really care for. Derp, how could I forget Mother Love Bone - Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns (Singles)
5. Favorite love song? Uhhhh, I really haven't thought of that. Does Sloan - Underwhelmed count as a love song?
6. Song that always makes you cry? I don't really cry to songs because the stuff I listen to isn't really emotional, but for some reason, Pure - Lemonade makes me well up a bit for nostalgic pangs, I guess. It just brings back memories of perfect summer days and trying to figure out teenage love.
7. Favorite band when you were in high school? Favorite song from that band? In early High School I wouldn't say I was sheltered, but was a bit of an iconoclast and didn't want to be a fan of current popular music, so Simon and Garfunkel was my favourite band, with Hazy Shade of Winter as their best song Later I kind of overcorrected though still tried to stay away from the mainstream bands, so I started getting into industrial and listened to KMFDM almost constantly. Help Us/Save Us/Take Us Away would be my favourite song of theirs, but boy do they not hold up.
8. Least favorite song of your current favorite band? Favorite Band now? Gah... hard to say. Probably Simon and Garfunkel again? Least favourite is basically all of Side 2 of Parsely Sage Rosemary and Thyme.
9. Favorite lyrics (answer can be song, album, or artist)? Can't think of any now. Let's say Paul Simon is my favourite lyricist for no other reason than that I love his songs.
10. What was the last full album you listened to, beginning to end? Ash - 1977. I had forgotten how much I loved this album in college, and went back and gave it a full through listen a little while ago mostly as a jaunt down memory lane.

The chillest. Love having Sims music playing in the background when I need to soothe my jangled nerves.

"Two Headed Boy Part 2" - Neutral Milk Hotel Daddy, please hear this song that I sing
In your heart there's a spark that just screams for a lover to bring
A child to your chest that could lay as you sleep
And love all you have left like your boy used to be long ago, wrapped in sheets warm and wet
Blister please with those wings in your spine
Love to be with a brother of mine, how he'd love to find
Your tongue in his teeth in a struggle to find
Secret songs that you keep wrapped in boxes so tight, sounding only at night as you sleep
And in my dreams you're alive and you're crying
As your mouth moves in mine, soft and sweet
Rings of flowers 'round your eyes and I'll love you
For the rest of your life when you're ready
Brother, see we are one in the same
And you left with your head filled with flames and you watched as your brains
Fell out through your teeth, push the pieces in place, make your smile sweet to see
Don't you take this away, I'm still wanting my face on your cheek
And when we break, we'll wait for our miracle
God is a place where some holy spectacle lies
When we break, we'll wait for our miracle
God is a place you will wait for the rest of your life
Two-headed boy, she is all you could need
She will feed you tomatoes and radio wires
And retire to sheets safe and clean
But don't hate her when she gets up to leave
10. What was the last full album you listened to, beginning to end?Sharon Van Etten - Are We There

. Song that always makes you cry? There are so many songs that make me cry that the question is overwhelming. I may come back to update this one. Well this one got figured out today. It came on the radio at work and I was like, 'oh yeah. I'm gonna cry.' Duh yeah, forgot to say it's Dion's "Abraham, Martin & John"Forgot about this song. But my father's name is John and I remember hearing this on the oldies station not long after he died. That last line gets me in particular cause that's exactly how it felt. Anybody here seen my old friend John?
Can you tell me where he's gone?
He freed lotta people but it seems the good they die young
I just looked around and he's gone
