Ganews has indicated he won't have the time to monitor the club this time, so I'll do my best to fill in.
Perhaps it's best to do without a theme again this month. As per the usual instructions: one album each for now, to be opened to second nominations later if necessary.

Sonic Youth, "Rather Ripped". Unlikely to be anyone who doesn't know what they sound like, but this is a good song from the album, which was their penultimate.

The Eccentronic Research Council - 'Johnny Rocket, Narcissist and Music Machine... I'm Your Biggest Fan'.
Featuring Fat White Family and the incomparable Maxine Peake, a concept album about a woman stalking the lead singer of a fictional Northern English band, The Moonlandingz. Musically inventive, lyrically cunning and hilarious.

I'll leave another day for other nominations. There aren't many, so anyone who's made one but wants to make another may as well do so.
