moimoi's key elements of good 'getting it on' music:
1. must be at least 30 minutes in duration (I mean, c'mon) 2. must be consistent, so that neither party is tempted to get up and change the music 3. must set the mood for what's about to go down
On this last point, please note that I will be making assumptions about how you get down based on what you post (nothing against 21-minute hardcore EPs, but they're a bit incongruous with a sensual experience). No need for graphic details, but I'm interested in rationale.
To start, I'll offer two albums - one that someone put on for me and one that I would put on for a special someone:
1) Sun Ra - Supersonic Jazz (1956) - A very cool guy that I had known for some time put this on when I found myself in his 5th floor walk-up around 2am years back. It starts out mysterious and exotic before cycling through various tempos and styles, from sweet and melancholy to peppy and, er, rhythmic. Good for exploring and having fun with someone you don't know very well, but would like to know better.
2) My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (1991) - Before you roll your eyes, hear me out! This is some intense background music for when you're deep, deep into someone (and ew, no, I don't mean like that!). If you can make it to the 29-minute mark, Sometimes builds slowly to a crescendo and settles before the euphoria of Blown a Wish kicks in. It's the soundtrack to the hipster porno in my mind. I've said too much.
Now your turn...

I was expecting the subject to be tracks about fucking (whether conducive thereof or not), rather than the best full-length albums to fuck to. This is more useful.
I don't have compelling individual rationales; they're all mostly of a piece. R&B, trip hop, electronica. Oft hazy, nocturnal atmospherics that are variously sleazy and seductive. Conducive to the slow and deliberate, certainly, and yet not incongruous with sex that, if memory serves, CAH eloquently describes as "primal, ball-slapping".
1) Weeknd, "House of Balloons" 2) Clams Casino, "Instrumentals" 3) Massive Attack, "Mezzanine" 4) Disclosure, "Settle" 5) Portishead, "Dummy" 6) xx, "The xx"
I'll reaffirm my conviction that Roxy Music's "Avalon" is as close to an aural panty remover as you're likely to find, though of dubious application here given its tunefulness.

Massive Attack's Mezzanine album is perfect for this.

Lord Lucan, considering at least 75% of music is about fucking, I figured some additional parameters were needed. And I'm in total agreement about Massive Attack - manages to be sexy without being cliche, like Al Green or Barry White. (Don't get me wrong, I ADORE Al Green, but since I know those songs so well, if a guy put it on for me, I'd be distracted thinking "what kind of Maxim-reading cheeseball am I dealing with here?"). I'm on the fence about stuff like Beach House - which is quite pretty and soothing, but seemingly made to soundtrack intimate moments. It wouldn't turn me off, but being a music snob, it wouldn't particularly impress me either.

I don't like the idea of standard, melody-centric music in general for this purpose, myself. The idea should be to create a certain sonic ambience and pulsating, rhythmic undergirding that's atmospheric but otherwise steady and non-intrusive. I like Beach House, but it's too often melancholy to fuck to.

The playlist I have for extended sessions with Tonks is about 3 hours long. That's not bragging - we put it on shuffle.
Key albums - which are all instrumental or wordless vocals:
Peter Gabriel - Passion Mychael Dyana - Kama Sutra OST Dead Can Dance - Aion/The Serpent's Egg (tracks with lyrics taken out) Howard Shore - Crash OST James Horner - The Name Of The Rose OST Clint Mansell - The Fountain OST (...with a special note that the track 'Death is The Road To Awe' is especially great for sex-magick fisting. Should that be useful.)

I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for suggestions over the next week or two...

Massive Attack's Mezzanine album is perfect for this. I had to look up if that's the one with "Teardrop." If the rest is anything like that, Hell oh-yeah.

Well, Gabriel Faure certainly sets a mood - a bit soft-core, Red Shoe Diaries - but if that's what your companion is into, go for it! And if you do try Loveless, let us know how it worked ;-)

I once masturbated while listening to track 7 of Loveless on repeat and did not realize the irony until later

Wholeheartedly agree with MBV Loveless, The Weeknd, Mezzanine, Dummy, XX, and Slowdive. Fuck those are all amazing, sexy albums... For something a bit different than the albums above: Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - BRMCAssume from this what you will about the way I get down.

Burial - Untrue. Also, Thom Yorke once said of "Paranoid Android" that "if you can shag to this one, you're fucking weird." As I am fucking weird, I would like, at some point in my life, to shag to that one.

FKA Twigs, "LP1" too. I like 'Lights On'. Though the vocals are often a little shrill and staccato for my taste.

For some reason the answer to this question in college was Marilyn Manson's Smells Like Children. Don't judge.

moimoi You're right! I knew naught of Towa Tei until now, but I like it a lot. This would also work for sexytimes. I see it's not on Spotify . . . is this track representative of the whole? I'm probably being too hard on Twiggs. She's a little overrefined for me when I'm really concentrating, but it's not like it registers in this context.

Oh, you know Towa Tei - he's one of the founding members of Deee-lite: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Towa_TeiMost of his stuff is electro/house, but with a jazz/bossa nova influence. Did a couple songs with Kylie Minogue and Bebel Gilberto. Check out "Apple" or "Luv Pandemic" for a sense of his (very) Japanese output.

The only music I listen to pro boner is this ambient drone field recording we call life.
Joking aside, I've had positive sexytime experiences with:
Blue Hawaii - Untogether Grimes - Visions Ladytron - Light & Magic M83 - Before The Dawn Heals Us Portishead - Dummy The Trucks - The Trucks
I once got it on to LCD Soundsystem's This Is Happening but almost ruined it by making the obvious joke via the title. Oops.

Subthread on ones to avoid?
NOT for BDSM play: Butthole Surfers' Independent worm saloon. The segue to "Chewin' George Lucas' Chocolate"... breaks the mood. Trust me on this.

For some reason the answer to this question in college was Marilyn Manson's Smells Like Children. Don't judge. If she doesn't get up and leave by "Fuck Frankie," you know she's a keeper! That said, listening to "I Put a Spell On You" while doing it could certainly make for a seriously intense fuck-session.
