I'd like to see that version of "The Four Feathers". I've seen the most recent one, which wasn't great, though did have an entertaining if inaccurate portrayal of the the Battle of Abu Klea.

Bleh, I really shouldn't be dropping cash on blu-ray's right now but that is damn tempting. I've been meaning to pick up a couple of things (Hoop Dreams and Aleksander Nevsky among them)

Woo-hoo! I got Frances Ha and Moonrise Kingdom.
This has always bothered me, but why does Armageddon have a Criterion release? In high school, I assumed that Criterion was owned by Touchstone, since all of Wes Anderson's films up to that point were Touchstone releases and so was Armageddon, but nope. What's going on (I mean, the music, the candles, the pretty dress...)?
PS. I assume the newsletter keeps one abreast of future sales.

At the end of the day I'll be the proud owner of: The Graduate, Rushmore, Dazed and Confused, and Kicking and Screaming.
So pumped.

Thanks for the heads-up! It's way too easy for me to spend money on this kind of thing, so I limited myself to three films I've never seen: Yojimbo, Hiroshima mon amour, and House. Very excited.

rimjobflashmob: I love me some Kurosawa and Hausu/House. I just got mine in the mail today. I got Michael Powell's Black Narcissus, two of Errol Morris' early works, Gates of Heaven and Vernon, Florida, and Todd Haynes' Safe.

Got mine as well, as well as the complete version of Grindhouse. Expect a flood of 2007 reviews soon.
