Beck, "The Information", 2006. I think it's his album most deserving of a revised look. And there's a new record coming out this month, with only one in between!
Michael Jackson, "Invincible", 2001. His final studio album.

Since they are most likely my favourite band of all time, I can’t pass up an opportunity to nominate: Superchunk – No Pocky for Kitty (1991)
Slayer would have been my second pick, but in their stead I’ll choose one of the three(!) albums released by this band in ’96: The Brian Jonestown Massacre – Thank God for Mental Illness (1996)

Van Morrison, "Tupelo Honey" (1971)
A very good album.
The Housemartins, "London 0 Hull 4" (1986)
An album I've yet to hear in full.

(I'll ignore regional loyalty and pass up Lindisfarne's Fog On The Tyne.) Never heard of it and I would love to hear why it's a quality album. It's my hope that these nominating threads direct people to interesting music and don't just devolve into boring "canon" appreciation.

It's my hope that these nominating threads direct people to interesting music and don't just devolve into boring "canon" appreciation. I've actually never heard the full album, but the title track is an inescapable unofficial anthem of our city, and I never, ever want to hear it again for as long as I draw breath.
