Something about cranberry juice and Fleetwood Mac. I really have no desire to find out.

Caillou. Apparently people have strong opinions about whatever that is.

Bridgerton (I think that's how it's spelled) - should I care?

Bridgerton (I think that's how it's spelled) - should I care? From what I can tell it's basically Downton Abbey but with race-neutral casting.

Bridgerton (I think that's how it's spelled) - should I care? It's basically "What if Jane Austen FUCKED?" It's pretty and interesting enough to keep you engaged, silly and dumb enough to enjoy making fun of. Wouldn't call it appointment viewing but it's fine for what it is.

Bridgerton (I think that's how it's spelled) - should I care? What HDB and Lieb said.
It's sweet, sad, often ridiculous, and very pretty. Both the sets and the people. I liked it well enough.
However, I would say to stay FAR away unless your tolerance for "this would be so much easier if any two people could have a complete conversation and actually speak their mind" is through the roof. Which I guess mine is.

I'm not sure I know what an Armie Hammer is, but we should err on the side of caution and just throw it in The Wicker Man.

People often rip open the top of his head and stick him in the fridge to absorb odors.* * I actually have no idea who Armie Hammer us, but I'd say his parents have a bizarre sense of humor when it comes naming children.

TIL that Armand Hammer didn't actually found Arm & Hammer. I knew about the relationship, but always thought he created the company and named it after himself.

DeviantArt "adoptables".
An artist draws an imaginary creature/character, and charges money for others to "adopt" him/her/them/it. Which entails... what, exactly?

Not sure if this is quite the right fit for this thread, but anywho...
In reading the newest Popcorn Champs on AV Club (currently the only running series worth reading now that Will Harris seems to have been jettisoned) re: Revenge of the Sith, and there's a thread where folks are chatting up Peter Jackson's King Kong. Everyone keeps bringing up this traumatic sequence where a character is eaten alive by a giant worm or some such and how shocking it was to see in a Hollywood blockbuster etc.
Thing is, I just rewatched this movie a few weekends ago and I have no idea what everyone is talking about. So, either my memory has taken a turn for the worse or I am so desensitized by years of horror movie fandom that this scene in particular didn't register or make much of an impression at all. Can it in fact be two things?

Ah yes, I do recall that scene. But I think the Dead Alive fan in me was more drawn to the comedic stylings of Jack Black and Adrien Brody frantically "beating off" the bugs just before "that scene" happens for it to really register.

They hold the camera particularly long on Adrien Brody with a giant grasshopper on his chest/face - somebody must have been a Salvador Dali fan.

I tried to read up on this, but all I got was that people pay to "own" digital stuff that they don't really own.

Don't forget the part where NFTs are also somehow really bad for the environment!

Does asking how to pronounce "cheugy" automatically make one cheugy?

There's some guy who keeps appearing in commercials and I have no idea who he is but apparently I'm supposed to? He has large eyebrows and ugly glasses and slicked-back hair and really I don't actually want to know who this guy pretty much out of spite at this point so please don't tell me, I just want to complain.

Is it the guy from the Sprint commercials who used to be in the Verizon commercial, or the delightful Dan Levy? (It better not be Dan Levy.)

And is of course Eugene Levy's son.
