It’s a Gayle episode again and in this episode, one of her cats could become a small celebrity though Linda might be paying for it to happen. What’ll happen next? I don’t care but I committed to this so let’s see if “There’s No Business Like Mr. Business Business” doesn’t end up an “Art Crawl” grade lump of used cat litter. Episode 10: There’s No Business Like Mr. Business Business
Store of the week: You Can’t Handle The Tooth Dental Extraction Exterminator of the week: Ethel Vermin Ethical Vermin Exterminators (“Everything’s Coming Up No Pests!”) Burger(s) of the day: Garlic Shandling Burger, Little Red Bruschett-A Burger, Walking In A Winter Comes-With-Cran Burger (comes with cranberry sauce) and Stilton on the Dock of the Bun Burger
“♫ If cats could cook, they’d cook Chef Caaaat. ♫” Well, I feel like invoking the name of “Art Crawl” just invited lovingly detailed renderings of buttholes and now I can add Mr. Business’ to that list. To be fair, this was a strong adventure which I liked from the start even with Gayle and her sad... sad... sad pathetic existence borrowing cash from Linda. Dry cat food appreciation, Bob being a cat whisperer somehow and even John Oliver as pet agent Ian Anderson with the totally adorable Snoodle the poodle. The whole thing was about as bare as Mr. Business’ tummy fur when he’s stressed but it was a fun romp which made me happy on the inside, the good sort of Bob’s Burgers which don’t need overly heavy storylines, just really insane ones. Even had a happy family moment with Gayle and Bob but overall, it's hard to say no to Bob giving a pep talk to a cat. A
| Even for a Gayle episode, this was a classic example of the level of insanity the Belchers tend to operate at and it works really well being all that we know and love about Bob’s Burgers.
