Jail time for stealing flying squirrels, Dyson vacuums and moreAnd, just to let you know this is a Canadian story, the subhead is "Stephen Rumsey also gets extra time behind bars for girlfriend's gift of drug-filled Kinder Surprise" If Canada had a Florida it would be Newfoundland, except that Newfoundland is actually a really nice.

I'm guessing she started fires with her mind, right?

I saw some Catholic bloggers arguing about this one. Then I realized I was reading Catholic blogs and went off to do something more productive.

I was kinda surprised they wouldn't be more generous toward those who are allergic and can't have even a smidge of the stuff. Then I remembered they believe it is transformed from regular old bread to literally the Body of Christ. As far as I know he was gluten-free. Wanna test whether Catholicism is the "One True Church" have a bunch of celiacs go up for communion and see if they react. Seems like a pretty easy way to resolve a couple of thousand years of debate and persecution.

If you want to get into the theological technicalities then the host is supposed to turn into the body of Christ but retains the nutritional and chemical properties of regular unleavened bread, including the part where the bread messes up the digestive systems of people with celiac disease. How? It's a mystery. (Seriously, this is one of the foundational mysteries of the Catholic church. The bread looks, tastes, and digests like normal bread but is actually divine flesh).

I made a really bad Catholic.
