They're available in Target near me, so I can have them ANY TIME I WANT (to go to Target). Have you been advised of the Tim Tam Slam, which I'm assured is a real thing and not just made up by my Strayan friends to make me look stupider?

The Tim Tam Slam, if you have yet to research it, involves biting opposite corners off of the cookie, drinking some sort of liquid through it (usually coffee, tea, or milk), and then eating the Tim Tam. It works, and is delicious, but I'm still worried in the back of my mind that it's like drop bears or chazzwozzers.

OMG! Tim Tams! My former boss was Australian, so this past spring, when he forgot to get me something for Administrative Professionals Day, he clearly just swiped a package of Tim Tams out of his pantry (he'd just returned from a long trip back to Australia) and offered them to me as some kind of "I thought of you while I was traveling!" gift. I forgave him* because HOLY FUCK TIM TAMS ARE SO GOOD. (He explained the Tim Tam Slam, as well. I don't need to know how to procure my own Tim Tams.)
*Well, I forgave him for the cookies. I did not forgive him for snagging the last few straggly flowers from his garden, putting them in a vase, presenting them to me, and then asking for the vase back right then. Just... don't bother trying to give me flowers if you're going to do it that way. It's better not doing anything at all.

Caramel Tim Tams are the best imo, I'm thankful we get them as one of the three flavours here. THis may offend purists.
And yeah I've had ANZACs at the aussie pavilion at our cultural fest here and they were terrible so felt no need to sample them on my trip.

I think I've seen them at Publix. Publix really upgraded their international food aisles a little while back and they got a ton of English candies and cookies and the like. But no jelly babies.

now I need to see if stores stock this as a thing... maybe the import sweets shops in town that tend to price gouge horrendously? hm.

*am also eating Tim Tams because of this thread*
Also, ANZAC biscuits are a biscuit we've culturally tied into our military history, so if you don't like ANZAC biscuits you hate the troops there I said it. They're like... sweet, chewy, and kinda dry?

Tea Rex, if not for you, I probably wouldn't even have noticed these. But since they were on sale and everyone's said how delicious they are, I got the original flavor to take to work this week. Looking forward to trying them!

They had the full range of them at Target for $3.19 yesterday. Publix had the original and dark for (I think) $3.99. I picked up a few of them at Target to take to work. I blame all of you for this.
