For the June edition of Record Club, the theme is duos. I doesn't strictly have to be some duet cash-in album, interpret as you like. ETA and of course up to two nominations each

Why is the world in love again? Why are we marching hand in hand? Why are the ocean levels rising up? It's the brand new record, for 1990, They Might Be Giants' brand new album, Flood!

Arab Strap - Monday at the Hug & Pint
Though I give a slight edge to their grotty, lo-fi early albums, I'll be merciful to those not predisposed and contribute this more fleshed-out (and excellent) 2003 effort.

Since Flood has already been nominated, I'll take the opportunity to give a shout out to iconic duos that practically defined their decades, but seem largely forgotten now:
Eurythmics and their breakthrough 1983 second album "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)"
The Everly Brothers, the duo with the most Top 100 singles of any duo, and their 1960 album "It's Everly Time"

Tears for Fears - Songs From the Big Chair Tegan and Sara - So Jealous
Not a nomination because I know we only get two, but if you like somewhat moody female led synthy stuff, listen to Overcoats.

Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson, "Waylon & Willie". 1978. Just look at this tracklist.
Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, "United". 1967. You've heard "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" but have you heard the rest?
