Lily, Rosemary and the Jack of Hearts on Blood on the TracksThat’s one of the best songs on the album imo.

Rocky Racoon on The White Album. But worse is the "I like it like that!...I like this kind of music" from "Honey Pie". That generally makes me yell at the album, "Then go play it someplace else, Paul!"
Also "Tomorrow Never Knows" on Revolver.

"Synthesizer" is worse. I just feel embarrassed for that one, but especially for the girl who does the newsreader bit.

I can take or leave Honey Pie, but come on … Tomorrow Never Knows is easily the best song on Revolver. I will never not strain to listen to that bit of honky tonk piano in the fade out.

"Synthesizer" is worse. I just feel embarrassed for that one, but especially for the girl who does the newsreader bit. It's probably a combination of nostalgia and hoping George Clinton never dies, but I can never hate the goofy-ass shit that is "Synthesizer".

The song on an album I mostly don't like is this thread when it talks about Revolver.

"Country Honk" on Let It Bleed. Not that it's bad, exactly, it just should be Honky Tonk Woman.

I was going to say "Elizabeth My Dear" on Stone Roses, but actually nah, it holds up.

Astonished no one has mentioned "I Got the News" on Aja. Even the hour-long documentary about the album politely ignores it!

"Big Man with a Gun" on Downward Spiral "Starfuckers" on The Fragile Huh, I always dug "Big Man" because it's the most overtly Skinny Puppy-ish synth part on the album and that it segues brilliantly into "A Warm Place" in my opinion.

I mean it benefits from be a minute and a half long, but it was often times the song I skipped a lot when listening to the CD. And musically it doesn't bother me but I think it's really the lyrics. I didn't have a word for it back in the 90s, but it, along with "Starfuckers," are big "cringe" songs. And it's Nine Inch Nails, so dude is always kind of riding that line anyway.

"Hit the Plane Down" from Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Kinda weird that this one doesn't work for me since I generally like the Spiral Stairs contributions to Pavement albums AND I later learned this was an attempt at writing a Happy Mondays pastiche (never would have made that connection, but I guess you can kinda hear it?) and I'm a big Mondays fan

I hate you (EDIT: not really. Much.)

It's got a fun little reverberated Michael McDonald verse which puts it above the interminable title track in my view.
