I couldn't think of a theme in 30 seconds, so the theme for November is the invisible, intangible, transparent, nothingness, etc. Two nominations each.

Really tired of Metalocalpyse being the true oracle of our culture in the subsequent decade, what with the American midterms next month. But I'll hold off on my nomination as a surprise, as we do.

Teenage Shutdown! I'm a No-Count (1998) 60s Garage Rock compilation from Crypt Records alias Teenage Shutdown. Tracks such as "I'm a No-Count" and "I'm a Nothing" align with theme. Meddle, Pink Floyd (1971) Originally titled "Return of the Sons of Nothings" which riffed on noodlings beginning as "The Nothings". "Echoes" the album's longest track was first performed as "Return of the Son of Nothing".

Please feel free to disqualify these if you don't feel they qualify. I think the oxymoronic titles fit the theme, but if not, I won't mind.
The Knife - Silent Shout (2006)
Modest Mouse - Building Nothing Out of Something (1999)

Genesis - Invisible Touch Didn't one of the April Fools months cover this? Correct, sorry Frohman try another.
I nominate Beck, "Hyperspace" (which also features the song "The Everlasting Nothing").
I'm not sure I even like Jackson Browne, but I nominate "Running on Empty".

Obscure Sphinx - Epitaphs - which features the opening track, "Nothing Left"
This is post-metal exactly as I like it, where even if the track is 9+ minutes long, it's still only 10% build and 90% payoff.

(Fuck) The Police, Ghost In The Machine, with "Invisible Sun", "Spirits In The Material World", and "Secret Journey". The first definitely qualifies.
