I did not vote for it but was curious how Floral Shoppe held up. To my surprise youtube still my little red progress bar from ~five years ago filled in on it.

Sweetheart of the Rodeo, while impactful, is dull. Always has been, always will be.

Mad Schleprock workin' here when I say, " Wowzy wowzy woo-woo..." - which in this case translates to, "I won't win. Poor me." But Mother Mallards Portable Masterpiece Company put out some really great meditative, "lose yourself in a mandala of sound", sort of Terry Riley-adjacent music/composition. This opener really opened me up when I first found it 15 years back. Led me to get investigate Deep Listening Band. Discovering Pauline Oliveros's other works. Even went as far afield as the Kitchen Archives after getting Mother Mallard on loan from the King County Library. It's worth a listen, if not 2 or 3. I don't mind a trip to Rock'n'Roll High School for a detention with the best-damned gluesniffers this planet ever produced, or learning how to suit up for Glam Wars. Just sayin' is all.
