Voted for TMBG, not because I like them, but because I don't.
I'm sure we've all got cult bands that we just don't "get", and they are definitely one of mine. I think I've voted for them every time they've been nominated as a way of potentially forcing myself to listen again and maybe connect.

I love Apollo 18, I think it's a genuinely brilliant album, but I'm not sure if it's the easiest entry point into their back catalogue. Let's see if you get the chance to find out! I'm also annoyed I saw this month's subject and missed the chance to put New Adventures in Hi-Fi on the list. Ah well.
