Hey, I am MyParentsAreAshamed, which is probably a permanent state as I am incredibly Jewish, though I ended up more "outspokenly bitchy" than "neurotically repressed" on the stereotypical end of things. I was mostly a lurker and liker except for TV Club Classic and Newswire, where I tended to jump in whenever anyone was being racist/sexist/anti-Semitic, because Britta is my spirit animal. Like others, I only found the link here yesterday, and Disqus is pissing me off too much for me to state.

So I'm Consolidated Headmelter which tbh was not my first choice even over on the AV Club where I could use the whole thing, but some bastard pre-empted Wintermute on me. I came in search of the Friday Night Perv thread and I have not been disappointed.

Yeah, I didn't think there'd be immediate uptake on that suggestion ... which I really only made because the expression makes me laugh. You should go with the MST idea. I'm thinking of "The Arthur Wellesley Experience" but have the nagging suspicion that I'm ripping off someone on the AV Club. |

Hey, I'm new here. I've been posting on AVC for a while - I was Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart until the changeover ate my account and automatically switched me over to my Dissolve discuss name (this one, Homage To Catatonia).
So yeah, do I do a bio thing? I guess there isn't too much to say about me. I'm from some village between Rugby and Northampton in Merrie Auld England; I study English Lit because I apparently laugh in the face of employability; and I like books, films, and music (well, I guess that's obvious if I'm here, but hey).

My name is Might I Add No Fat Chicks, based on Homer's line in the first song in "Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious". I am in my mid-20's, studied creative writing and film/media studies. I also grew up to The Simpsons, as is obvious. I need to write more and think contributing to both here and the AV Club will help me work on my writing.
