When Review Will Be Posted:
I plan to post my review of the pilot episode on Monday. The pilot episode was an hour and a half long, so anyone trying to follow along should budget that much time to watch the pilot. Where to Find the Episodes:The pilot episode can be found here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qjlg3ddGFmwOr by DVD. It does not appear to be available on US Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. It would appear that all episodes of Profit are viewable on this Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0MLlXbNG0carmK3rUlKlSsfSDhDWL2h3What Kind of Commitment Is This:Fox canceled Profit very early, due to a variety of reasons (lack of interest and the huge controversy caused by the show). There are only 8 episodes in the series. Why Should I Watch This Show:People called in to complain that the main character was "Satan in a Suit." Come on, what more impetus do you need to watch this show?!!

Love that show when it originally aired. Looking forward to revisiting it. Good Choice. So glad we have Direct TV, so I can watch youtube videos on the big screen.

I've never heard of this show, so imagine my confusion when I thought you had put some boring work-related shit up in here. It sounds like Wolfram and Hart, but I may just be projecting.

Honestly this show kind of sounds great. It sounds like the show about 40% of network dramas want but fear to be.

I'll give this a try. The whole antihero before antiheroes became a thing sounds interesting, and like so many beloved cult favourites, it's cancelled and short.

From Wikipedia: he was raised in a cardboard G&G shipping box with the television on at all hours by an abusive father in Tulsa, Oklahoma, until he set his father on fire and ran away as a teenager. Fuck yeah I'll watch this.

Just FYI, whisperingeye -- some people might not want to know that stuff before watching. Ah, spoilers are going to be interesting on here, aren't they?

Oops, sorry, fixed now. Spoiler tags hide totally batshit premise.

Haha I'm pretty sure I watched this when it aired. It takes the idea of an anti-hero to the logical conclusion and this was before anti-hero was a thing.
I bet if this aired now, it would run for like 7 seasons.

@tampopozach, are you thinking of Action, the show with Jay Mohr? Or did they do that on both shows?
Anyway, I watched the pilot last night and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to reading and discussing.

I've never heard of this show, so imagine my confusion when I thought you had put some boring work-related shit up in here. I thought it was going to be a hilarious parody of work-related things. I was so disappointed.

It's easy to do. That's why I immediately knew what Neurozach was talking about. Also, because I will forever associate Cobb salad with a nauseated Jay Mohr.

I've been wanting to watch this for a long time... I'll come back tomorrow or Saturday for the review, once I get a chance to watch the pilot.
