Summary:
Bodie and Poot debate the emotional attachment to places as the tower projects are demolished. Stringer seems to want to act more as distributor.
The police are not getting much on Cheese and Proposition Joe.
A councilman butts heads with Burrell after Burrell refuses to work with him behind the Mayor's back.
Daniels is sleeping in his office but helps keep up his wife's image as she mulls a run for a council seat held by a supporter of the Mayor.
Herc and Carver are also having little luck on street level arrests.
Bubbles and Johhny hit a new low as they lose their pants after scratching the SUV of another dealer.
Burrell and Rawls tell their commanders to get the murder rate down implying they should fudge the numbers.
A murderer gets out of prison and Avon offers him work. He gets a bag of drugs but when he tries to sell them, he is ripped off.
Random thoughts:
So I surmise that this season is all about the politics. Could be kind of dry, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt.
So when the casting agents of The Walking Dead received all that flack for T-Dog, they just decided to start pulling in actors from The Wire, huh? Not a bad choice.
I kind of miss the stevedores.
Still not that interested in McNulty mopping about his failed marriage.
Avon shows off some real power, walking through the middle of a baseball game. I am curious where it comes from. Is it from the street? his family name/business? the hot shots deal? Because from the outside he does not seem too successful in keeping a supplier or holding on to his territory.
Where are Omar and Brother Mouzone? Cutty looks like a nice new badass, but he does not have the flair.
