What is it?The Brak Show is a spin-off of Space Ghost Coast to Coast starring everybody's favorite idiot, Brak. A former feared space pilot, he now has the intellect of a five-year-old, and he lives with his parents, Mom (played by two actresses, one American and one British) and Dad (voiced by Space Ghost's voice actor, George Lowe), when he's not getting taken advantage of by his "best friend" Zorak (also returning from SGC2C). The show regularly parodies sitcom tropes, with wacky scenarios (including an episode-long staring contest between Dad and Zorak) and nonsensical advice from Dad. When will reviews be posted?Every Thursday between 7 and 10 PM EST, starting on November 14. Unlike SGC2C, the show will be reviewed in chronological order, starting with the pilot. AvailabilityThankfully, unlike SGC2C, all of the volumes for the show are easily available to you. The two volumes of the show are available to order on Amazon and Netflix disc service (no Instant, once again). Five episodes are available to watch on Adult Swim's website. CommitmentThere are 28 episodes in total, and I'll cover them all. As with the SGC2C reviews, things won't get too deep into analysis. I'll be cataloging Dad's Speeches of the Week. Why should I watch this?Because it's highly amusing, that's why. It's goofy fun to SGC2C's absurdity.

I'll be there if I'm not somewhere else, at the one and only carnival of feet!

The Brak Show is still quoted with ridiculous frequency in my household. My husband and I regularly sing "I love you baby" to each other as we leave for work. There's something wrong with us, probably.
