Summary: Burrell and Rawls continue to put pressure on their divisions to get the crime rates down. Colvin decides he has had enough and reports and increase in crime. He tells his men to push the dealers into a vacant area and then leave them alone. Once they are concentrated, they can be taken out.
Burrell works on another deal with the councilman about getting more officer into the academy, but the mayor pins the bad press back on Burrell.
Omar's crew hits another Barksdale stash house but things go bad and one of the women is killed.
McNulty checks out the prison library and finds that D'Angelo could not have hung himself. Kima and McNulty want to stay on Proposition Joe and Stringer, but Daniels orders them to move on to another dealer that is killing people while Stringer and Prop Joe are laying low after finding out about the tap on Cheese's phone.
Bodie's crew is beaten up by Marlo's. Bodie goes back to Stringer to tell him something has to be done.
There is a wake for Cole who died on a stairmaster.
Random thoughts: Not surprising that things went bad for Omar's crew. He was really pushing it on this personal vendetta. I am curious why he does not go right after Stringer though.
Lot's of cop humor in this one. Kima and McNulty drinking and talking about spouses, "Jesus, I am turning into McNulty." the whole wake. Good stuff.
I just feel sorry for Cutty, ripped off, then not knowing Spanish to work with the landscapers plus his ex-girlfriend has moved on in a big way. Seems like he is trying, but the game is calling.

I so want a good end for Cutty but I don't expect it.
