Summary:
Carcetti continues on the campaign trail as election day nears. He is slowed down by a Photoshopped picture of him with a slum lord and some double dealing by Senator Davis.
Namond and his mother are cut off by Brianna. His mother takes him to Bodie and talks him into giving Namond a package to sell. Namond approaches Michael but Michael does not want to help and Namond goes home to play video games without selling the package.
The major crimes unit catches Marlo talking about picking up a package but it is a set up and Marlo has to be let go when it becomes obvious he was just testing them.
Greggs and the detective catch a tip about the witness murder but Rawls knows the timing is bad with the election and has them detailed to election duty.
Prez helps Dukie with his clothes. Randy is picked up when a girl complains about being raped by two other boys. He offers to talk about the body they found in the vacant house. Prez talks to Daniels about keeping Randy's name out of it and he assigns Carver to work on it.
Omar is picked up on the murder charge. The other inmates are hostile but Butchie sends two guys to protect him.
Carcetti wins the election. D'Agnostino tries to come on to him but he refuses.
Random thoughts:
I think this is the first time I think I have seen Omar nervous.
Bodie is impressed by Namond's mother and has more insight as to why Namond is the way he is.
Cutty's sleeping around is costing him trainees.
Great work by Aidan Gillen as he hears the news that he won the election and you can see the weight of the responsibility in his face. Also nice that he was framed by the skyline, emphasizing the enormity of his challenge.
