Summary:
Michael runs from Chris and Snoop and gets the drop on them but they are all using paint guns.
Landsman tells Freamon not to go looking for any more bodies in the vacants. he goes over Landsman's head to talk to Daniels who talks to Rawls. Rawls convinces the Carcetti that it would be better to find the bodies before the start of the new year so the stats can be blamed on Royce.
Prez and Carver each visit Randy who is lying low at home.
Namond and Michael confront a kid who stole from Namond but Namond does not want to hurt him. Michael beats the kid and later hits Namond when he is blustering. Namond tells Carver and Cutty that he is not like his father. They contact Colvin to help him.
Cutty goes to try to smooth things over with Michael but one of Marlo's crew shoots him in the leg.
Omar and his crew steal an entire shipment from Proposition Joe.
Carcetti goes to the Governor to ask for help with the school debt.
Dukie has his last day in class as he is promoted to high school.
Bubbles has a plan to poison his attacker but Sherrod finds the vial, disguised as heroin and dies instead.
Randy's house is firebombed and his foster mom is seriously injured. He mocks Carver for saying that he would help.
Random thoughts:
Well fuck, we all new that was going to be bad, but I was genuinely surprised. I suppose it could have been worse, but we still have one episode left.

It is interesting how many times we have seen Marlo's crew practicing. I don't think we really saw that with Avon's crew. They were more focused on avoiding the cops and laundering their money. Marlo has kind of been painted as a short term thinker, but this and his willingness to go after Omar in a different way play against that.
Maybe a last bit of compassion from Michael as he offers to get an ambulance for Cutty.
All the 4 kids are still alive, but they are all in quite different places than they were just a few months ago.
