I would gladly accept that curse. The millions of dollars would provide adequate salve against the mean AV Club comments.

"I wonder if he could do something bigger?" Spoilers! That's what Kira said.
77^
I remember this...usually I missed the DS9 reviews, because it was 5 pm for me when they were posted, and I was usually on my way home from work. But that day I actually stayed at work late specifically so I wouldn't miss the review, and I managed to make the first post. It was a response to the very last "stray observation", which was "So Odo can transform himself into anything, regardless of mass. At least, he can transform himself into anything smaller than himself. I wonder if he could do something bigger?"

Nudeador Viking the Third • 4 months ago Something something joke about mutually destructive phone sex with Moaning Myrtle punchline punchline punchline!
As a random aside, how easy is it for everyone else to notice when ancient texts get upvotes? For me it's pretty obvious since they are pre-gimmick account and therefore do not start with "Dear" or "My Dearest" or "Sirs." But I don't know if I'd really notice otherwise.

I kinda hate the way NuDisqus tells you every time somebody upvotes you. I like going back to old articles and upvoting what amuses me. Except now, I make sure to log out before I do it because somehow I feel weird letting somebody know that I liked something they wrote six months ago.

I didn't understand the rules of this thread. If you check your notifications in the comments section, and select "all", you can see people who've upvoted you. There are people who are reading old articles and comments, and upvoting. None of them seemed to be logged on (or they're intentionally logging off), and get marked as "Guest". So, something you said 2 years ago all of a sudden gets upvoted, and you get a notificatoin, without context as to what you were talking about. For example: Guest upvoted you on Untitled - 15 days ago Gumbercules - a year ago He's Canada's problem now. 38△ ▽ ReplyView Comment⏍ Who's Canada's problem? Why is the article untitled?! (It was probably the Tolerability Index) Why is this person liking this now?!

I won't post specific comments but it seems that my snark relating to old newswires about Kevin Smith's "Tusk" have undergone a critical reassessment. That and some other nerds are reading Oliver's excellent JLU reviews.

There was a time before you were Nudeador Viking III. Strange to remember. It's really quite jarring when I look at disqus in the morning and it's a stream of guests and 43 more liked your post "Dear Sirs" and "My Dearest So & So" and then suddenly: Guest upvoted you on Untitled 5 days ago Nudeador Viking the Third 2 years ago Muzzy taught me French! I think the weirder thing though is Nudeador as a concept has only been around since this summer, but the change has been so complete that few remember that I was ever anything else.
