Some Kind of Munster what irritates me is that one off the big new things in CC is that Photoshop has some kind of new feature to export CSS ... that hasn't been included in web slices.

Dreamweaver still has that Macromedia non-organization taint that makes me hate Flash. There's supposed to be new drag and drop features but they seem to break more than they help. That's probably my biggest problem with webdev in general - move something and BAM it blows up and takes up the screen.

Basically what I want is to create like I do in InDesign and export that. (Fun fact: an epub is actually a zipped html and css self contained website).

I used to build sites from scratch, but use mostly WordPress these days though I do a fair amount of customization.

My talents lie more in the content/organization/functionality sphere.

Just be glad you can target modern browsers - in the bad old days, the box model was *different* between browsers.

I've grown inured to the whole "reactive design" thing, which is good because it isn't going away any time soon.  But lord god, laying out pages that have to display at different screen sizes is a pain-in-the-ass - I tend to use inline-blocks a lot to get things to centre and wrap properly, and flex boxes have made some things *much* easier.

I still do a bit of wordpress customizing as a sideline and my current client (who I'm actually doing a site for in trade) asked me 5 weeks ago where his "rough cut" was, I sent it to him the next day and have yet to hear back from him

I'm not going to remember a damned thing about the custom coding I did by the time he answers.
