(and this one is real!) It's times like this that Post-Lupin being gone hurts the most.

It's times like this that Post-Lupin being gone hurts the most. We had a gentlemen's agreement, dividing the TIF between us: He'd do threadposter's moms, I'd do the Shoutboxers'. Seems I have to do double shifts for the time being.

I am almost tempted to read those silly "Dukes" romance books. I wonder if the humor is my style? There is definitely potential there to be really fun.

I should hang this on my wall if I start reading Absalom, Absalom!, as recommended by Roy Batty's Pet Dove

I should hang this on my wall if I start reading Absalom, Absalom!, as recommended by Roy Batty's Pet Dove Yeah, there's no waitresses or biscuits in Absalom, Absalom!, but it does start with an amazing description of a decrepit old house and all the vines that are covering it, and I feel like 14 is at least in part directly inspired by said passage. Old-timey decrepit houses are one of Faulkner's favorite symbols.

I’ve always appreciated the aesthetics of water towers. I will actually seek this out.

I'd be willing to believe in flame pits and tentacles but yeah, "Delaware".

Lord Lucan Bernd & Hilla Becher are also regarded as super-impotant in the histeory of post-WWII photography, too (though I can’t quite remember why).

Not my picture, but I originally found out that this book existed during an exploration of my grandfather's bookshelf at age 12. ...
