I'm at my wit's end. I keep syncing my iTunes to my 32 GB iPod touch, and it tells me when it's hooked up that everything has transferred over - I haven't been getting any error messages, no boxes have been left unchecked - but when I look in the music app on said iPod, it's still missing some albums that iTunes keeps saying have synced. I've done a manual sync by checking every single box known to God and man, and still the results are the same. I just want to listen to Queen, damn it!

So, iTunes is stupid. Everything is listed under the correct artist name there, and I realized it did indeed transfer all the music over to my iPod the way it said it did. However, my iPod lists Queen (among others) as "Various Artists" and only gives me access to it if I go under "Compilations".
Jesus christ I miss my old nano. I'd still be using it if the battery hadn't died. At least it made SENSE.

Go to the Queen album, highlight all the tracks and in the right-click context menu click the "Get Info" option. Then in there on one of the file settings pages is a little checkbox for "Is this a compilation" which you should be able to uncheck.

I have some other albums I'll need to do this for too.
