now we all love to eat at a table with a knife and fork but sometimes things get hobbesian and we sit in our car shovelling crap down our gullets with our disgusting hands that we may or may not have washed. maybe you get drive thru, maybe you just resent your fucking pig coworkers/kids that much we all end up doing it at some stage whats the most you done it

Where's zero? I never ate a meal in a car because it's a gross thing to do.

I'm also a zero. I don't eat in my car. I'm the type to keep his car scrupulously clean on the inside, even as I don't care much about its outward appearances and will go months or years without an exterior car wash.
The closest I come is whenever traveling south into Central Texas along I-35 I will stop at the Czech Stop in West, Texas (that's a town) and get some kolaches. They don't have seating, so we'll usually place our bag on the trunk of the car and eat standing outside in the parking lot.

I'd vote zero for "real life", but there have been road trips where I've had a meal of french fries in the car along the way, so I guess that counts as one meal in the car in a week. ::shrugs::

For the last eight years or so I've worked out of my car, it's basically my office. So unless I skip lunch for the day and eat when I get home, or actually go into a place to eat, I'm eating behind the wheel. Though the weeks I've done it the most are when I've been brown bagging it.

I ate Taco Bell in the backseat of a car last weekend. I was saving it for home, but because we had just gone through a 10 acre corn maze in the rain, decisions were made.

I've never actually eaten in my own car. Granted, I've only had it for less than 6 months, but I haven't found any occasions where eating on the go was necessary so far. And I rarely eat in my parents' cars or my brother's car. I'm actually fairly certain I've never eaten in my dad's, because he doesn't really allow it. I've definitely eaten in my best friend's crappy old '98 Corolla, though, because when you're stoned on a Saturday morning you aren't gonna wait to get home to scarf down that bagel sandwich.

I'm not sure why you only allowed one option here. I went with 10+, but it is also true that there have been multiple weeks where I've eaten all of my meals in my car. It used to be a pretty regular thing with me, back when I used to have fast food 50+ times / month.

I often have to eat in the truck between service calls. Like all the time.

Back in my house painting days there were plenty of days when I would grab a second breakfast on the way to work and a pre-supper on the way home, which is what happens when you're working 11 hour days an hour from home.

I think I've hit 3 during weeks when I am working M-F, rehearsing M-W, and then performing F-Sun. Often I don't really get long enough breaks to sit and eat somewhere. So, Monday, Wednesday and Friday turn into "eat on the way" days.

Excluding snacking (and even then not too much) I rarely eat in my car. I don't like doing it. It's messy and awkward. That's why I don't get the appeal of drive-ins/Sonics.
But sometimes you have to especially on road trips. I never kept track of how often so I assume I at least did it twice in a week at some point, but if I had ready access to every single memory I'm sure the greatest number of car-eaten meals eaten in a week probably is a bit in excess of two.

Now I'm imagining some crazy place with a Taco Bell in the middle of a 10 acre corn maze. If that had been at the midpoint instead of the shoddy shack with overpriced corn nuts and canned soda, we would have been much happier over the course of the second leg.
