Jim Beam Reserve hot toddy. Hot. Delicious. Intoxicating.
EDIT: Hoo, yeah; that's going right to my head...

Instead of my usual Coca Cola, right now I'm drinking a Dr Pepper... Oooo, exotic.

After work I had a few beers at the local brew pub, I'm not good with beer so I don't know what to compare it to. They call it Thoroughbred Red. Anyway, I got fairly drunk off of that and had to take a little nap. Now I'm having a Coke.

Todd & Holland's ginger peach black tea blend, and it's perfect because it's freezing in here. Once I'm done with this, it's on to a Nalgene bottle full of tap water. WOOOO! (I'm never logged onto this forum when I'm drinking something interesting. ::pouts:: )

Hot Stash Lemon Ginger tea. Very relaxing.
I wasn't on here last night when I had it, but my mom mixed some Bacardi and cranberry pomegranate juice together. It was excellent, although I don't recommend reading about someone being in rehab for alcoholism while consuming it.

I am a beer guy and red ales is pretty much my favorite style of (regularly available) beer.

Lazy Person's Mulled Wine (For One)
Put a Good Earth Sweet & Spicy tea bag and at least five ounces of red wine into a mug. Microwave for 90 seconds. Discard tea bag. Add a splash of orange juice and sugar or honey to taste. Stir. Drink.
If you're really fucking lazy, or just out of OJ like I am, a heaping spoonful of Tang can be substituted for the juice and sugar.

Some hot dark chocolate with a little Fireball in it. That's right, Fireball isn't just for casual drunks, it can be used to flavor things, too. Also, I'm really more of a formal drunk.

Moving onto some kind of homebrew lager in a bit, probably.

I am an enthusiastic consumer of hot cocoa and strongly flavored, complementary liquor. Cocoa & Chambord is my current favorite.

A delicious bourbon Alexander. Mmm-mmm! What's your recipe? Right now I'm drinking Bailey's because it's Christmas and stuff.

A tumbler of Maker's Mark. I intend on keeping this going until I go to bed tonight. That's more than ten hours away from this point in time...

Imperial stout. Jet black, dark chocolate coffee, faintly hoppy ... and 9.5% ABV. Only 4 liters left after tonight.

As soon as I get off work, I will be drinking a cup of this:
800 ml water 200 ml honey (the above mixed in a closed pot and simmered for three hours)
750 ml Jameson Special Reserve two sprigs of hand-powdered clove, ground in a stone mortar juice from four lemons, fresh squeezed cinnamon shavings nutmeg shavings

I went over to my sister's house and got absolutely trashed on Killian's and this cinnamon whiskey I'd never heard of before called Incinerated or Cinnerated or something like that. Anyways, I don't know how true this is but the bottle said it was 91.1 proof. It was pretty harsh going down but my god did it get me some fucked up.

What's your recipe? Right now I'm drinking Bailey's because it's Christmas and stuff. I totally cheated last night--I used boiled custard in place of the cream, with a drop of chocolate syrup in place of the creme de cacao. For bourbon I used Rebel Yell. Bailey's is the only whiskey-based beverage my wife will touch, funnily enough! Bailey's is whiskey-based? Well, that means it's the only whiskey-based beverage I will touch, also. Saturday, we'll be having Tom & Jerrys at the annual New Years' bash at my aunt's. I look forward to them every year. Raw eggs, confectioner's sugar, and rum. You really can't go wrong, there.

Karben 4 in Madison, WI has an Irish Red called Lady Luck that I am partial to. Also, Central Waters has Ouisconing Red. I enjoy them.

The Formal Drunks, much like the formal gardens of France during the time of Voltaire, could often be tamed with the proper placement of a bench and some shrubberies.

My dad usually omits the milk, as far as I can tell: www.chow.com/recipes/10299-tom-and-jerry
