Remnants of Sears to be wiped out as Seritage shareholders bless asset saleThis really makes me sad. At one time Sears was a really good company, and when online commerce began to take off, they already had most of the infrastructure to become an online juggernaut if they had been so inclined. They could have been Amazon. As a little kid, the arrival of their "Wish Book" Christmas catalog signaled the true start of the holiday shopping (and hoping for presents) season.

My grandmother was a artist, and towards the end, was mainly doing abstract collages. During one of my last visits to see her, she gave me one. Before handing it to me, she put an arrow on the back to indicate which way was up. When I went to put it up, I realized there were two arrows on the back, pointing in opposite directions.

Republican who called drag shows a threat to kids quits after sex with intern"Texas lawmaker gave alcohol to intern, 19, and another young staffer, and had sex with intern when she was intoxicated" The only surprising thing here was that the intern was a woman. Also, this chestnut burried deep in the article Two of them [legislative aides] eventually left but the intern stayed, according to investigators. She told her friends Slaton drove her home the next morning, stopping at a drugstore so she could obtain emergency contraception.
Slaton at one point proposed to penalize the use of emergency contraception, including what is known as the Plan B pill. Besides his proposed ban on children attending drag shows, he also drew attention for seeking a vote on whether Texas should secede from the US.

Don't worry, there's a much better versionAnd it's only lyrics, so you don't even have to hear it.

Counterpoint: We Didn't Start The Fire is good, actually. It's definitely Billy Joel's best novelty record. And it's in chronological order at least, so it might help you with trivia or an exam or something. It's not good, but like The Hook, it's catchy. At least Popper has the decency to say 'this song sucks but you're going to like it anyway, because music theory'. So, it's good like Baby Shark.

I read this headline and initially assumed Extreme Heat were the name of a band.
