Should the sequel to The Sopranos be "The Mezzo Sopranos" or should that be the prequel? Nel Mezzo del Cammin di Nostra Vita mi Ritrovai per una Selva Oscura, ché la Diritta via era Sopranos

I'm starting my one-credit online biology lab class today. I have not taken any science in 15 years.
Pray for Mojo.

We got married over 12 years ago. After the wedding, the venue sent us a refund on what we'd overpaid and a box with some engraved drinking glasses (I can't even remember exactly how many - 4 or 8?) as a thank you/wedding gift. At the time we were in a small apartment so we kept them packed up. I know we've moved them and I'm 99% sure they're somewhere in our house, but I've forgotten for years at a time that they even exist. I just remembered today because someone mentioned the country club in question. Now I wonder whether they're even easily findable.

The ability to not hit play is the only thing saving my sanity at this point, I suspect.

I bought a small tin of Danish butter cookies purely because I knew I was going to need a place to keep my sewing supplies. Also the cookies were a knockoff brand and were terrible.

I almost bought a knockoff brand recently. I was just feeling sentimental for cookies that weren't even that good to begin with. Luckily, I noticed these knockoffs were made in Malaysia and knew I couldn't go forward with the purchase.

I feel like sewing supplies should just come in Danish butter cookie tins. Like, isn't that where everyone keeps them? Why should people have to deal with the step of getting the cookies?

I will say that the Royal Dansk brand is quite good, at least in my memory. But I agree that sewing supplies should just come in those tins. (Also now I sorta want to make Danish butter cookies from scratch.)

This is the correct take. There needs to be more reusable aluminium containers in general, because now that I think of it, we have like 4 containers that originally contained cookies or some souvenir in my house. They're super useful and they last forever.

That Hershey's tin just keeps going and going, and the thing is, that none of us remembers where the hell it came from.

This whole Danish butter cookie tin / aluminum tin for sewing supplies thing is completely foreign to me.
We did have an old can of Poppycock Just Nuts! that we used for loose change for years and years until I replaced it this year with a glass jar. Poppycock Just Nuts! is a discontinued food stuff which was just the nuts part of Poppycock caramel corn. So no popcorn, just cashews and almonds and pecans with caramel corn coating.
And I'm doing some research now, because I haven't seen the Poppycock brand in years, but apparently now it's co-branded with Orville Redenbacher's, and also it's a ubiquitous enough product that there are copycat recipes for the original Poppycock all over the place. Huh.

Febreze in the office locker room is fair game, right? I feel like I am stealing someone's lunch, but its been on the shelf by the door for a few months now. Considering its in the locker room and we have people who do pretty physically arduous work and get dirty, it seems like a reasonable assumption that it was left for everyone.

I'm in love. I went to my doctor's office today and while I was walking to the room, I saw a guy at the computers and I thought, huh, that guy's pretty cute. Turns out he's a physician's assistant in training and he was the one to come in and talk to me before the doctor. When he was going back out after we talked, I asked him if anyone had ever told him he looked a bit like David Tennant (which he did!). He didn't know who that was, but asked me "is he handsome" and I said, well, he's my TV boyfriend so ... yeah, I think so. He kind of laughed.
Anyway, even though this guy is probably 20 years younger than I am (he's not college student aged - he worked in a hospital as an RN for many years), it's nice to know that I can still be attracted to someone! It hasn't happened in a while.

And now there is once again only corn in Indiana. (I have been to Indiana Beach once, as a teenager, and was not terribly impressed. Holiday World is far superior.)

I kind of want to learn to play the trumpet, and I'm not sure why. I wanted to do band when I was in lower school (we had to do either band or chorus), and I got trumpet. I don't remember much about why I did trumpet at the time, but my parents later told me that it was the cheapest one. I was roughly okay with it, after a few years of it. I never really learned an instrument, and assumed I wasn't talented with it. I took guitar lessons at one point, and the teacher told me I should play right-handed, that I'd actually have an advantage. It didn't occur to me until much later that if that was advantageous, right-handers would play the other way. Again, I got to semi-competent on it and quit. Later, as an adult, I learned that the trumpet is considered one of the hardest instruments for left-handers to play. And I restrung a guitar at one point, tried to self-teach, and found it much easier to pick up if I was playing left-handed. Ever since then, I've wondered if I ever had the opportunity to learn on an actual left-handed instrument as a kid, if I actually would have had some talent.
