Trump accused of breaking promise to coal industry CEOSurprising because Trump has seemed to bend over backwards for energy executives. Unsurprising, because it involves him breaking a promise. |

Not surprising because, jesus this guy has been given a ton of chances and blown them all, still kinda surprising because how often do the wealthy and well-known actually face real world consequences?

This one is going here because it is published in the Arizona Republic, a right leaning newspaper in a state that continuously elects climate deniers to all meaningful levels of government. Phoenix's heat is getting worse - and sticking around longerIf you click the link, the actual headline is still good: "Phoenix's heat is rising - and so is the danger" This was the HUGE front page story on today's paper. The headline one the actual print edition was "DEATH BY DEGREES" |

Astronomer Royal Martin Rees's view, and the view of a bunch of people whose parsing of risk analyses veered into nuttery of the secular kind. |
