Fun Fact: if you punch a child in colorado, it isn't illicit, but quite the opposite, in fact. They give you $35 bucks, and a t shirt. It is how I make extra spending cash on weekends. Just out of curiosity is this any child, or is it just one specific child in colorado? Cuz if so, I think I know a child who could use a stint in that position. |

Because they got boring, Liz n Dicksgiving Like reaaaaaaaaallllly boring. Plus that seems as if anytime movie discussions are brought up, everyone wants to talk about only those. Would you also agree, Al, that Antman is false advertising because he can also grow in size and so the title of the film should have been Ant-Controlling Size Change Man? Because once you hit 100 posts, you'll be able to see the thread I've made on the TMI Board where I announce that I'm boycotting all future Antman films until they change his name. I was mentioning to a friend the other day that they should have called the sequel "Gi-Ant-Man". I was quite smug in my cleverness, which absolutely no one acknowledged. |

Please tell us about the stuff you like that other people find awful. I prefer episodic television to serialized shows, (which probably explains a lot of my annoyance with the entire MCU construct...) so I hold "Law & Order" (OG) as the highest standard of quality TV. I love Murder, She Wrote! Gunsmoke! My heart sank during the sixth season of Seinfeld when the titular character was playing with a yo-yo. It was so non-nonsensical, I knew it would show up the next week, and sure enough, there it was.
That's not a running joke. It's not even a reference. It's a cheat. The ultimate in reference-based entertainment, IMO, was "Friends." For a comedy, it had a significant shortage of jokes.
So I'm 100% with you, L'n'D. Give me the characters I know and like in a 48-minute* plus commercials situation, make it tight, and I will like. Spare me the dramatic arcs, I just want to watch the goldfish on the screen.
*23-minute for comedy.
