This is my prediction for how the famous television drama Better Call, Saul will end. Everything's in black and white, even though it's the future. Jimmy has become an umpire for an adult recreational baseball league in his spare time, and he's umpiring a game when all of a sudden who's that up to bat? That's right, it's Jesse Piknman, from Breaking Bad! The first pitch by the opposing pitcher is a ball. Jesse from Breaking Bad fouls on the second pitch. The third pitch is a ball. Jesse from Breaking Bad doesn't swing at the fourth pitch, and it's pretty clear that the pitch should have also been called a ball, but Jimmy calls the pitch a strike. Jesse from Breaking Bad turns around and yells at Jimmy using his famed slangy dialect "What the hell, ump?!? That was obviously a ball! Fuck you!" Jimmy retorts by yelling "If you keep that up, and continue to direct loud coarse language at me, I am going to use my umpire privileges to toss you out of this nonprofessional baseball game." Jesse from Breaking Bad fouls on the fifth pitch. Jesse from Breaking Bad doesn't swing at the sixth pitch, and it's close, but the pitch was just inside the strike zone, and Jimmy correctly calls it a strike. Even though he's just been called out on strikes and the last pitch was just barely in the strike zone, Jesse from Breaking Bad recognizes that "strike" was the right call, and he turns to Jimmy and quietly says so that only Jimmy can hear "Better call, Saul." Jimmy quietly responds "Thanks, Jesse." And then the series ends.
I think this is how Better Call, Saul will end because it would be a good way for Jimmy to finally redeem himself for the mistakes he's made and to show that he and Jesse from Breaking Bad have both learned from their mistakes, because Jimmy became better at calling pitches and Jesse from Breaking Bad became better at not flying off the handle at bad calls and learned to forgive Jimmy for his past mistakes of making bad calls as a nonprofessional baseball umpire.
Anyway, how do y'all think Better Call, Saul will end? Share your predictions here!
