Watching X-Files with no lights on, We're dans la maison I hope the Smoking Man's not in this one Because the mythology episodes have aged really badly

Barenaked Ladies: Canada's leading providers of happy little songs about chronic depression from 1991 to... whenever it was Stephen Page left the band.

Pinch Me is one of the best songs about despair ever written. Ignoring the underwear joke in the last verse, said verse describes me more often than I care to admit.

Pinch Me is one of the best songs about despair ever written. Ignoring the underwear joke in the last verse, said verse describes me more often than I care to admit. And that joke (like a lot of their humor) has the exact note of resigned, making the best of how shitty things are deflection that goes with being reeeeally depressed.

Did they ever explain the lines referencing Sailor Moon, "boom anime chicks," and how "they make him think the wrong way"?
Even at 14, that verse stood out to say, "hey, these guys are like that weird kid in social studies who has to take all of his other classes in the library for some reason"

One week since the 20th anniversary of the release of One Week Five days since Trump laughed at Puerto Rico Saying "Asking for Statehood? Come back and see me [once my critics are no longer in office]." I was really hoping someone would grab the baton and run with this, finding a way to fit something that happened three days ago into the lyrics. Now, I've been told I'm not funny, but c'mon that's gold right there.

Yes, but that's also asking us to put a definitive timeline to the terrible things President Hairpiece does, and I for one am trying to stay away from things that make me miserable all the time.

This was supposed to have a link to that terrible Staind song in it, but apparently that doesn't work from my phone. Anyway, remember this?

Or possibly: It's been awhile. This was supposed to have a link to that terrible Staind song in it, but apparently that doesn't work from my phone. Anyway, remember this? I have to blame Scott Aukerman for knowing that one...

If your cd collection doesn't at least have copies of Maroon and Rock Spectacle, what are you even doing with yourself? Living in the 21st century without a CD collection? Thats why CDs are so cheap, giving you no excuse not to have them!
